Christmas Run - Wed 16 Dec

Our annual Christmas fancy dress run returns in covid-compliant form... There will be a trail, set by Irian Jaya. The trail is a loop to/from Irian Jaya's house, but if you want to run alone or in pairs you'll be able to pick up the trail at several other points. There will be mince pies and mulled wine (disinfected by the hare himself!) 7:30pm, Wed 16 Dec. In the interests of keeping everyone safe and suitably distanced, and providing the right number of mince pies, PLEASE REPLY to webmaster AT enfieldhash DOT org if you are planning to run.

Enfield Hash #255 - Wed 18 Nov

We are going to do a multi-hared run around Enfield again.

Date: Wednesday 18 November, 7:30pm.

PLEASE REPLY to webmaster AT enfieldhash DOT org if you want to run.  The trail will be close to / around Enfield Town again but we should be able to make a different route to last time.  And if you don't live on the route, please come and run anyway.  Once I know who is running, I'll send out a map so that anyone can find the trail and a Zoom link for before/after.

Enfield Hash Run #254 - Wed 21 Oct

 Enfield Hash is on Wednesday 21 October at 7:30pm.

There will be an trail - meet just inside the main entrance to Enfield Town Park.

There won't be anywhere to store bags, there won't be a P trail and there won't be anywhere to buy beer  This is a low key attempt at a trail in order to comply with the rules.  If we have more than 6 people we'll split it into two separate groups, with separate starts, in order to keep to the rules.

Enfield Hash Run #253 - Wed 16 Sep

 We are going to do a multi-hared run around Enfield again - with the increased group size restrictions coming in this week, it still doesn't look like we can meet at a pub.

Enfield Hash Run 252 - Wed 19 August

The pubs STILL don't look quite ready for us yet, but we do have a hare.

My Perfect Cousin will be setting a trail. It's five miles anticlockwise around Enfield, which will be marked in chalk and flour.

The trail starts and finishes at Cowdrey Close, but you can pick it up at Enfield Chase Station, Grange Park Station or The Stag.  There will be a couple of short cuts.

Enfield Hash - Run 251 - Wed 15 July

We are going to do a multi-hared run around Enfield again - the pubs don't look quite ready for us yet.

PLEASE REPLY to webmaster AT enfieldhash DOT org if you want to run, or just turn up.  The trail is a 5.5 mile loop, passing Enfield Chase and Enfield Town stations.  There are six hares setting a live trail, so trail should appear by about 7:45pm.

With the lockdown situation a little relaxed since last month, but still making it difficult to run together, another many-hared run is probably best.

21st Birthday Run

Next week is the 21st birthday of Enfield Hash!

So we are going to try a socially distanced run (Wednesday 20 May).

The idea is for each of you to create a trail linking everyone's houses.  Everyone sets off at 7:30pm, setting just the trail to the next house in the loop, then following the rest of the trail and ending back at home.  Followed by a Zoom meeting to celebrate with down downs on your own.

This almost certainly won't work!  But if you're in, please reply to this email webmaster AT enfieldhash DOT org with your name and address + postcode and I will try and create a sensible loop, which I will announce in advance.

Our next run is from The Jolly Farmers.  It is walkable from Enfield Chase Station (follow the trail of chalk arrows up the hill).

Wed 19 Feb, 7:30pm start.

Bring a TORCH.  This one shouldn't be too muddy...

Our next run in on Wednesday 15 January.

Join us at the King and Tinker for the annual Whitewebbs by Torchlight Run.

Past experience suggests you will need a TORCH and spare SHOES for the pub after.

No P trail but get in touch with webmaster AT enfieldhash DOT org if you need a lift from Enfield Chase station.
